What is the length of treatment?

Our program is based on each patient's needs, so length of treatment varies.  The minimum treatment time for the day program is generally two weeks.  The Intensive Outpatient Program runs ten weeks.

What are daily hours?

Group therapy sessions begin at 10 am and continue to 3 pm, with a one-hour break for lunch. Individual, marital, or family sessions are scheduled before or after those hours.

Do you take adolescent patients?

Patients must be 18 or older to be in our program.

Do you admit patients in need of detox?

In some cases detox in an outpatient facility such as ours is appropriate. We will assist patients in obtaining detox services at an inpatient facility, if medically necessary.

Is a therapist available after hours?

Yes. We have a therapist on call 24 hours daily.

Do you take Medicare/Medicaid insurance?

No. We are not a Medicare/Medicaid provider.

Is the program all group therapy?

Treatment is predominately group therapy. In addition, patients have weekly sessions with a physician, a psychiatric nurse, and individual, marital, or family sessions with an individual therapist.

How do you communicate with physicians or therapists who refer patients?

We send weekly treatment updates to referring physicians or therapists and a discharge summary when treatment is completed.

Do you have an evening program?

The Intensive Outpatient Program is an evening program.  In addition, we have a Women's Co-dependency Group that meets weekly.
